The closing will move the museum improvement project into its final phase, which includes the addition of new galleries, an elevator, new restrooms, and a learning laboratory to help visitors experience LMU’s extensive collection which covers the life of Abraham Lincoln, the Civil War and the founding of the University. We look forward to welcoming the community back in late 2020! January 10, 2020 ALLM Introduces Civil War Sundays Book Club Civil War Sundays Book Club, a new community offering hosted by the Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum (ALLM), will meet the first Sunday of each month at 2:00 p.m. at the Elizabeth D. Chinnock Chapel. The first book featured is Louisa May Alcott's "Little Women" on Feb. 2. October 21, 2019 LMU Adds Pioneer Village to Celebrate Heritage Lincoln Memorial University’s (LMU) new Pioneer Village, located in the shadow of the Huff Tower, highlights the heritage of our community and will provide learning opportunities for younger generations who visit the Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum (ALLM).
